Dominican Republic Mission Trip

The Dominican Republic is a country full of beautiful people and I long to serve them in every way I can. This upcoming Spring I feel that God is calling me to be a part of a mission trip through Students International to help the people in this impoverished country. Using my experience from starting my own Woofs, Wags & Walks business combined with my passion for people and my dream of founding a bookstore coffee shop where guests can come and feel like family, I am excited to serve local families through their microfinance ministry site. This will allow me to assist struggling locals in becoming small business owners empowering them with the knowledge and skills to provide a stable income to support their families. Specifically, this site provides saving accounts, small business loans, and financial education all while sharing the gospel. I am thrilled to be helping with all aspects of the site, including the lessons and meetings that include a bible study and discussions about issues in their businesses. 

To make this mission possible, I need to raise $500 by October 31st, and the remaining $3,000 dollars by December 31st. This will cover my travel, room, and board in the Dominican Republic. 

This is my chance to educate, empower, and uplift people through the power of prayer, service, and love. I can not wait to be a part of these people’s stories as they achieve their dreams and craft better lives for themselves and those they love!
